It turns out that the bar next to the bike shop has an excellent happy hour, and if you sit outside and drink a gin & tonic while waiting to meet a high school friend for dinner, one of the bike shop dudes might recognize you and tell you that you should come to the shop for a beer.

There you can see also my rad polkadotted helmet, and my new 24 oz. insulated water bottle that was on sale, and also my shiny new stem that makes me feel like I am sitting upright when I ride, even though if you look at my bike, you will see that I am still nowhere near upright, especially because I ride in the drops most of the time (better brake control with my tiny hands, necessary for city riding... you can see the dirty spot where my hand goes, yuck). Also, there is Sawyer. She has her eyes closed but she is modeling her fabulousness all the same.
